CEO and Co-Founder of US Medical IT

As Co-Founder and CEO of US Medical IT, Stephen Cracknell has the vision to innovate technology environments to improve daily business operations and provide better customer experiences. Stephen founded US Medical IT in 2010, a Dallas-based healthcare technology firm that provides businesses with fully-managed and co-managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud and network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 licensing, and IT consulting services.

Before launching US Medical IT, Stephen spent 12 years working for Microsoft, gaining extensive experience managing complex IT projects ranging from security to databases and network architecture, as well as public speaking. In 2007, Bill Gates awarded Stephen Microsoft's Innovation Award for designing a Shelter Registration System used by the American Red Cross. Stephen has served in several leadership roles on the Health Industry Council Foundation of North Texas. Stephen is an active member of Voices for Innovation, a political advocacy group focused on technology privacy, security, & STEM education. Stephen also serves as a cybersecurity expert for the CyberPeace Institute, a global non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure the rights of people to security, dignity, and equity in cyberspace. 

​In his free time, Stephen enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his wife & two children.
