Stephen Cracknell
CEO and Founder
As Founder and CEO of US Medical IT, Stephen Cracknell has a vision to innovate the healthcare technology environment to improve medical practitioners’ daily operations and better service patients in a more compliant manner.
Prior to launching US Medical IT in 2010, Stephen spent 12 years working at Microsoft and had extensive experience managing complex IT projects ranging from security to databases and network architecture. In 2007, Bill Gates awarded Stephen Microsoft’s Innovation Award for his design of a Shelter Registration System used by the American Red Cross.
With the last 10 years spent exclusively in Healthcare IT, Stephen is a confident leader with the ability to build consensus and develop effective teams, while simultaneously reengineering complex business processes. He is also a talented public speaker with years of national training and presentation experience.
Stephen has served in several leadership roles on the Health Industry Council Foundation of North Texas. Stephen is a member of Voices for Innovation, a political advocacy group focused on privacy, security and STEM education. In his free time, Stephen enjoys camping and volunteering with his son’s Boy Scout troop. He loves to travel, hike, and spend time with his wife and two children.
Stephanie Cracknell MSN, RN, FNP-C
President and Founder
Stephanie Cracknell is the Co-Founder of US Medical IT, where she serves as clinical advisor and coordinates the financial, marketing and HR activities within the company.
Stephanie brings a healthcare background to US Medical IT. As an RN since 1995 and a Nurse Practitioner since 2001, she has participated firsthand in the momentous adoption of technology in the day to day functions of a healthcare provider. Over the years working as an RN in a hospital setting and as a Nurse Practitioner in a private neurosurgical practice, Stephanie has experienced the benefits and challenges that technology brings to the healthcare workplace and strives to apply this knowledge in helping lead the effort at US Medical IT.
Stephanie continues to utilize her skills as a Nurse Practitioner by volunteering as a primary care provider at Hope Clinic of McKinney, a free clinic serving low income and under-insured residents. She also serves as the Co-Leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and the Medical Forms Coordinator for her son's Boy Scout Troop. Stephanie's favorite hobbies include running, biking, and traveling with her family.
Stuart Macanliss MBA
Director of Health IT
As Director of Health IT at US Medical IT, Stuart has extensive experience leading multifaceted IT projects, including complete cloud migrations, SharePoint architecture, HIPAA compliance offerings and telemedicine solutions. Stuart is a hands-on, results oriented leader practiced in applying new directives and ideas to solve problems and identify unique opportunities.
Along with his strong technical architecture and project management skills, Stuart is a talented public speaker that has delivered highly effective Power BI Workshops to 100s of people across a wide range of enterprises. He earned his BSBA in Finance/Marketing from the University of Denver, and his MBA from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
